Jim Datz is an illustrator and designer whose wandering career path has led from the beaches of South Jersey to Philadelphia, Tokyo, London and eventually Brooklyn, where he now spends most days and nights. His easily-recognized work has a light-hearted modern style with midcentury roots, and embodies unburdened optimism and freedom of movement. He sells editioned screenprints, decorated apparel and illustrated homegoods in stores and galleries in the US, UK and beyond.
His small independent studio also manages commercial projects for clients of all sizes—particularly those with a similar interest in exceeding the market's demand for quality and attention to detail.
